1. Menyatakan perbuatan yang telah selesai dilaksanakan diwaktu yang akan datang.

• Menggunakan time signal atau time duration.

e.g. :

• They’ll go to bed at 10.00 pm. He will get home at midnight. At midnight they’ll be sleeping. They’ll have been sleeping for 2 hours by the time he gets home.

e.g. :

• When Doctor Jane retires next month, she will have been teaching for 30 years.

2. Menyatakan perbuatan yang masih berlangsung diwaktu tertentu dimasa yang akan datang.

• Menggunakan time signal atau time duration.

e.g. :

• By the end of this year Ricko will have been studying here for six months.
• By the end of this year she will have been training horses for ten months.
