Uncountable Noun

Uncountable Noun adalah kata benda yang tidak dapat dihitung. Uncountable noun juga dapat di ingat sebagai kata benda yang hanya memiliki satu bentuk saja, seperti contoh : water.

Untuk mengukur atau menakar uncountable noun dibutuhkan takaran (partitive), seperti :

• A glass of milk : Segelas susu.
• A drop of water : Setetes air.
• A bottle of coffee: Sebotol kopi.
• A slice of cheese : Seiris keju.
• A plate of noodle : Sepiring Mie.
• A spoon of salt : Sesendok garam.
• A cup of tea : Secangkir teh.

• Two glasses of milk : Dua gelas susu.
• Three drops of water : Dua tetes air.
• Four slices of cheese : Empat iris keju.
• Five plates of noodle : Lima piring mie.
• Six spoons of salt : Enam sendok garam.
